did anyone else notice him pulling out his blackberry on the field tonight?

bevo was awesome today, pretty much took all his chances apart from a tough shot in the 3rd (iirc).

The full smorgasboard was laid out on the buffett today. Slotted goals, tackled ferociously, ran up and down the guts all day and garrotted Carozzo. No longer a just a tradesman - an artisan.

Very good first half, faded out a bit in the second which has been a little typical of recent efforts.
Needs to turn those sort of games into a big 4q effort rather than think the job is done for half the game

Thats a bit harsh. He was switched onto Carozzo and closed him down after half time. (This is based on viewing the 7 compressed zip file that was served up as a match telecast).

He did fade a little but he did keep us in the game until half time. We were gone if it wasn't for his two first half goals. Looked dangerous all day. I don't know who went to him in the 2nd half but clearly they put a tag on him. Quite a compliment considering how poor we were in the first half.

I get the distinct impression C7 and Foxtel are not getting on well at present.

In Melbourne they had the highlights of the game after the Port & Adelaide game and they didn't even get the commentary.

Lot's of games being played between C7 and Foxtel at present.

I don't think Bevan shut anyone down today.

Bevo played a lot up forward in the first half and then went back when the side was reshuffled in the 2nd half. No doubt he is a forward/midfielder and does his best work in that role now, and is reading the ball coming into the forward line very well.

Gee it must be getting very crowded on the Bevo bandwagon.

We may have to ask for references and a police record clearance for new members. Interesting that Roosey in the Daily Terror credits Bevo with setting up six of the first seven goals. He was also choking the life out of Scotland at the time. Bevo may be the first tagger to have set up six goals and picked up a tag himself, as the Bankers and Tankers put Carozzo on him after half time. Is this a first in AFL? Tagger has to be tagged. Unbelievably the Murdoch rag doesn't have Bevo in our best after quoting Roos on how outstanding he was. But hey they work for Murdoch.
