    Round 17 - Adelaide

The Crows. There is no other team in the AFL which the Swans have struggled against for such a long time, whether it be home or away.

We've played the Crows at the SCG fourteen times, for 5 wins and 9 losses. Our most recent success was in Round 15, 2004, at the SCG, when we won by 13 points - the only time in eight starts we've won against Adelaide since Roos became coach.

Despite this, I think the wheel might be about to turn, and we will win this Saturday night. The Crows are just not the team they have been over the past few years. Swans by 18.

      We're overdue for a win.

The Crows' forward line is weak with Burton and Porplyzia out and their KPP is the 1st year Tippett (who also plays in ruck). The Swans should win in the midfield with the experience of Jolly/Everitt winning the hitouts and the likes of Kirk, B1 and McVeigh winning the clearances.

There are several injuries and concerns, ROK should be available and Malceski will probably return. The backline should bounce back after an ordinary performance against the Blues and control the game.

      Swans by 20.
I only support one team: The SYDNEY SWANS!!!!! :adore

I agree, except that I think Sydney may end up winning this comfortably. I just hope it's not a boundary hugging, stoppages filled game.

Unfortunately so are the Crows. They've lost their last five!

But if ever we're going to reverse the trend against Adelaide, it may as well be this weekend. Last week's comeback should be a confidence-booster.

The Bloods by two or three goals.

We'll win comfortably if Hall plays.

Probably just get home if he doesn't.

will be a tight out stoppageathon I feel. Hopefully we can win by a few goals, but with both teams missing their key men up forward it will probably be a low scoring torrid affair. To be honest another win and 4 points is all I want- the margin really is irrelevant this week.

I agree, odds on for this being one of the ugliest games of the year. Especially if, by sheer fluke, the weather forcast for showers is correct.

Not if we win it in the midfield. People are forgetting that Hall's played some pretty good footy this year - nothing like last year. He has played two average games against St.Kilda (the first time around) and Collingwood. The other five that he's played, he's been in our best on every occasion.
