Cousins I could live with. Kerr would cost too much - the deal suggested by the OP is no chance in hell.

Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

The Swans are only a good option for kerr if he is looking to escape the limelight, otherwise he wont even be interested in us. Same for Cousins and same for Fevola.

The recycled gun players who work out best at the swans are those who want to escape the media and public attention because it is affecting their careers. I doubt Kerr is looking for this.

In regards culture fit, isnt the Swans culture our very selling point. If Kerr is looking to reform his ways and concentrate on football he might be a better fit than you think.

In saying all this though the big picture is that he alone will not make the difference between us and say Geelong at the moment and we will really be hit hard in a year or two if we trade low draft picks away now , particularly if the following drafts are devoid of low picks.

When did Chris Mainwaring's trouble start?
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Which was about 12 years ago? How long has Colless been with the Swans?
The edge is not the limit, It's just the starting point...

                  15 years.

                  From the swans website ....

Richard joined the Board of the Sydney Swans in 1993, and in 1994 was appointed Chairman. He is the longest serving AFL Chairman/President currently in office. He co-authored the review of the development of Australian Football in NSW/ACT in 1997 and in 1998 was appointed Chairman of the AFL (NSW/ACT) Commission, a position he held until 2002.
Again, I speculate that Richard Colless had nothing to do with the perceived "druggy" or "bad" culture over at the criminal budgies.

                    Here we go again.....

                    It's getting boring people.

And it's not as if it's ever going to happen so just let it go.

Jason Ball and Ben Cousins used to be teammates.

                        Frightening ... isn't it?

I hope you're not insinuating that Jason Ball had anything to do with disgraced west coast criminal budgies fallen star ben cousins and his drug habits.

Imagine if we got Cousins BEFORE he slipped into his life of sin and degredation.

Cuz and Dale Lewis would have been a formidable combination.

Let me see..... people here don't want various AFL players because of their personalities?

                            How funny.
Unless you actually have met and got to know the player I suppose.

Pretty shameful to label a whole football club as druggies because of a couple of instances.

The Swans will recruit players who have what the club needs.
They'll have them assessed in various ways, but if Judd was on offer, I'd be a bit pissed off if the club didn't show any interest at least.

People say that they'll walk away from the Swans if they recruit such and such player.
I'm sure that is a major deterrent for the club
The difference between insanity and genius is measured only in success.

I'd take Kerr, but geezus please don't let Hunter anywhere near a red and white jumper.
