    I should?
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Id take Kerr only as a footballer, even the dickhead he is but it wouldnt sit that well with me either. Id take him well and truly before couso though in terms of what he could add to the team- at least he is still playing at the top level and has more time left in his career then Cousins. but if Hunter was involved, Im afraid I couldnt watch our beloved Swans again until that w**ker wasnt playing for us. He is vastly overated in my opinion, an ultimate cat and soft as hell! No thankyou!

Unless you actually have met and got to know the player I suppose.

Pretty shameful to label a whole football club as druggies because of a couple of instances.

The Swans will recruit players who have what the club needs.
They'll have them assessed in various ways, but if Judd was on offer, I'd be a bit pissed off if the club didn't show any interest at least.

People say that they'll walk away from the Swans if they recruit such and such player.
I'm sure that is a major deterrent for the club
        Of course, you're right.
If they did take him, I wouldn't walk away ... I love my footy too much for that, but I would be the president of the hate fan club.

I wasnt commenting on him i was asking a question as i didnt have a clue when he came to the swans. Sorry Annie, a bit like jumping into a thread and commenting without reading everything people have said, but you wouldnt do that, only someone with rocks in their head would

I'm shocked at all the comments - obviously an interesting proposition. However, I will point out that West Coast didn't get 2 first round draft picks for Judd & he is allot better than Kerr (and they need another forward too). Say what you like about Davis, on his day, he's a great forward (he's a bit like Kerr - not consistant). DO NOT UNDER-ESTIMATE THIS YEARS DRAFT PICKS - 2nd pick will be worth more than wat you think, especially with the concessions coming in the future.
Personally I would like to see it happen - it would give us a centre equal to any in the AFL I reckon.

I started this thread because I think Davis wants to leave the Swans & go to West Coast & Kerr wants to leave West Coast. Anybody going to judge Kerr as a "knob", etc. I would say to them - what was Barry Hall or Tony Lockett before Sydney. Lockett was the biggest thug in football. Which one of you will say that recruiting him was a mistake. Everything about Kerr is guesswork - also, allot of players take drugs because they can't drink-beer makes you fail skinfold tests, etc.(& that is straight from an ex-player - I won't say who). I would love Selwood but his cost would be higher than Kerrs & I'm not sure he wants to leave. Also, Kerr would improve the Swans.

West Coast didn't get 2 first round picks for Judd? They got one top 5 plus a player who'd been drafted at no 3 or 4 two years earlier and who hadn't had enough development time, as a tall, to significantly devalue his worth.

And yes, the number 2 pick this year may well be worth a fair bit. Problem is, the Swans won't get it. It's mathematically impossible for them to get it by being crap enough. The only way they'll get their hands on it is if they choose to trade someone like Goodes or O'Keefe to whoever does have it - most likely West Coast.

I meant a 2nd round pick. Swans 1st pick & Davis would get Kerr for certain, but would they do it in this draft...I don't think so.

I'd be amazed if the Swans first pick - which will be around the 12-16 mark - plus Davis would come even close to getting Kerr. Even if West Coast were daft enough to accept this as sufficient, 14 other clubs would offer more.
