    SEN Commentary - why bother

Had to endure the poor excuse for commentary last night.

    Biased to Adelaide

Wanted Barry to have a brain snap - seemed to be looking for reasons for it to happen.

Kept making ridiculous comments about Barry being in a happy place - very demeaning to the man.

When Barry was taken off continued making comments about being on the couch not the bench.

This mob should listen to 774 and learn how to do the job properly or else give it away.

Mark Doran was absolutely horrible. His comments about Hall weren't funny or clever at all, and just went on and on.

And yet those in the media have the audacity to have a go at RWO posters for doing the same thing.
Where did we learn how to bag the players I wonder?

        SEN commentary = a joke.

SEN = a joke of a radio station.
I only support one team: The SYDNEY SWANS!!!!! :adore

I didn't think the foxtel team were very good last night either (Dwayne Russell spoke continously for the first 3 mins of the game - not commentary on the play - just plain old 'Dwayno' garbage).

They also couldn't tell the difference between O'Dwyer & Mattner, they failed to pick up that Goodes was injured, and kept making the comment that the posts were bigger in Sydney (in reference to the padding) even though the ball was hitting the posts high above the increased padding - they may have been joking, but if they were it wasn't funny and wasn't clear.

Plus they made a complete balls-up of that umpiring goal/behind fiasco (they kept saying the goal umpire indicated that the ball was touched - even though he made no such indication) - they were in short annoying. I was contemplating turning on the radio just to make the match tolerable, but it doesn't sound like SEN would have been a good choice either.

In error, during the game thread I called "Catch" Doran, "Dhuddo", thinking it was Ants Huddo making all those inane, trailer park references to Barry's issues. The way he kept on with it was particularly boorish. Ants Huddo leaves me cold and Catch steals from everyone, Ants included. Derivative dud, Catch.

I'll be on the phone to a few different SEN time slots today and this week. E a few mails around. Copy and paste, e-post haste. After the Domestics are done.

I love SEN. At the end of their first weekend of live footy, Catch was kinda moaning on about some controversy that'd happened in the final match of the round. He was getting all wrought up and whiny about it, so I rang in. Doing the right thing for the station at the end of their first weekend of live football, I said that I wasn't disappointed 1 iota, I'd just had a great weekend of footy on SEN!!!.

Lifted the whole close of the weekend. Catch gave me the $100 Duncan's voucher for Call Of The Day. When I picked up the voucher I discovered it was for Jim Beam products only, but after 3 or 4 tries, I came across a Duncan's owner/manager in his shop. He immediately agreed to my proposal that I'd give him the voucher and he give me the total value in Guinness, Carlsberg, Corona and Abbotsford Invalid Stout.

Have to get cleaning and cooking done before dark. Yeah, call in right at the end of the round. E mail.
I was wrong about Gerard and his hair.
