Maxfield said the teenager, just under 190cm, has all the attributes of a successful AFL convert.
"He?s got exceptional pace for his size so we expect him to be a midfield player or a rebounding half-back flanker," he said.
"He plays as a midfielder and a forward in the Gaelic game so he certainly possesses those athletic attributes."

A heads up for anyone who has got Setanta Sports. The All Ireland minor final is going to be shown live this Sunday 21st September at about 10.00pm. Kyle will be playing for Tyrone and it will be a good chance to get a preview of him.
I have been following his form over the last couple of months and he is very highly rated in the Irish press. In the semi-finals he kicked seven overs (what we would call goals) in the second half of the game. He is reported to have very good athletic ability and a beautiful left foot.
From the Meath Chronicle:
"We?re also sure to hear a lot more of Kyle Coney who contributed seven points to Tyrone?s tally. Just when his side needed a score Coney invariably came up trumps, winning possession on the left, moving inside and using his cultured left foot to curl the ball between the posts."Comment

He's decided that it's better to become a legend in a fish bowl than risk becoming a failure in a fish pond.
Hopefully he'll change his mind again.
Speaking of fish, We've got PYKE!
Has anyone thought up a nickname yet? Fish or Moose perhaps.
Mountie not a good nickname in Sydney. In memory of my little Staffy - Dicey, 17.06.2005 to 1.12.2011- I'll miss you mate.Comment

The Swans website is now running a story about his voice echoing down the corridor soon. Who we believe? The swannies or a couple of Irish newspapers? Those who have the greatest power to hurt us are those we love.Comment

Cavanagh says he is having a "slight change" of mind about coming, mark it down now he will be coming. Season will be finished soon and he will be looking for holiday, once he gets here the jobs 3/4 done.
Nothing more than a puff peice to appease the locals.
