    My sister just called me.
She just heard on the radio that it's snowing at Lake George.

I'm going to need three doonas.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

I thought it was Walter Burley Griffen not George. Funny nickname for the Lake!!!!!!!!!!

        Forecast for Saturday
Partly cloudy but mostly dry. Isolated morning showers are possible, falling as snow on the ranges. Morning frost patches. Moderate northwest to southwest winds.

        Precis: Becoming fine.
        City: Min 1 Max 10
        Tuggeranong: Min 1 Max 10
Now this is a thread that i would expect on the ego -centric, wank session that is redandwhiteonline.com...

Lake George is that big open space about 50kms out of Canberra on the left (You cant miss it) when coming from Sydney, while Burley Griffin is the actual lake here in Canberra.
Absolutely gross day down here, lots and lots of rain but also a hell of a lot of wind. If the wind keeps up it will blow out a lot of the moisture, but I would expect it will be pretty slippery and boggy no matter what the weather does over the next couple of days.

About 5 doonas is how many youll need Annie if its as cold as it is today! Absolutely freezing down here!

            Not possible.

If the City is Min 1 Max 10, AE of C will be Min -10 Max 0

Agreed our sublime skills come to the fore in the wet. BBH plays at his absolute peak in the wet and it should suit his sure hands and enhance his super overhead marking.

I would expect our accuracy to improve on 6 goals 17 in such conditions and help our dead eye dicks in front of goal.

                  It's just a pity it's not a night game.

Its dry and windy as hell in CBR today, I think the ground would be fine by lunch tomorrow with no more rain forecast.

Night game at Manuka...interesting (everyone bring your torches). At least you'd be able to spot Aker!!

They just warned of snow on the Federal Hwy this morning on ABC 702. Brrrrrr. Glad I'm watching it at home.
