                Goal to Welsh - so much effort from the Swans to dominate most of that quarter and yet we've only reduce the gap by 1 pt!

                                    Great effort by Mattner to get it to Veszpremi for his first goal. I like ROK in the centre too as he kicks it forward rather than kicking it across his body like Ablett and J Bolton do.

                                                Western Bulldogs 13.7 85
                                                Sydney 9.11 65

                                                A somewhat better quarter by the Swans but again goalkicking has been ordinary (3.5) with both sides having 20 shots on goal. Great first goal by Veszpremi, who has played well on debut.

                                                Momentum has shifted slightly towards the Swans, accurate goalkicking and directing the play in the 4th quarter can get us over the line and win in a thriller.

                                                        Much better qtr, considering how inexperienced the team is I am pleased how they have played. We really need to take the opportunity when given as we should be in front if not for inacuracy.
