Was pleasantly surprised by Crouch's return. His experience showed in such a changed team. Ves made a terrific debut and Hall will probably keep improving over the next couple of games.

Considering our under-strength team and inaccuracy in front of goals, the Bulldogs should have won by more. However, they are a cut above us and have a few very good players with safe hands. You can't help but like Brad Johnson.

          Ive said it before

Our forward coach isnt a forward we have the wrong John in charge. A former
backman cant teach how to kick goals, maybe go back to the horse, as for our coaches Roosey has struggled since his mate left for the Saints, He is obviously struggling with them and perhaps the Sts will get rid pf him and the
2 can reunite with the Swans.
Maybe also we should promote Currie and let Spider start his trek early, he is next to useless we saw how a couple of kids went today cant hurt to give Currie an initiation.
Since when has Bevo been a chb, Murphy is arguable the dogs best player,
and we put PB on him. Bevo was doing Ok on the forward line (hard for me to give him some praise) why not leave him there. As for LRT he should come and watch Aussie rules on Tv he cant play it, cant beleive its the same guy
          from 2005.
Its getting to the stage I am only watching a quarter, getting into a blue with missus and daughter for abusing some of the play and I have been watching the swans for 55 years.

Except when he gave B2 a nice upper cut to the mouth.

Was out of the room when that happened. Apart from that, I've always liked his game.

U and me both....today they insisted I start a swearing jar when watching the Swans on TV. But really, how can you not swear when you see some of the dumb @%&#ing things they do....

                  Just got back from Canberra.

A frustrating game because we had chances to win but predictably undid most of our good work with our own stupid play.

The game plan, if we actually have one, bugs me no end. We're averse to anything resembling quick and direct ball movement. Also, how many goals did we gift them through Swans players slipping over? Surely they can choose their studs better.

McVeigh was sensational. I though Hall was showing some good signs there in the second half, Vespa was great also.

White had no impact and I really don't think he's the great white hope that many on here seem to think he is.

Crouch has made a few of us eat humble pie. Happy to admit I was wrong on that one! He was one of our best.

What's wrong with B2? Had a shocker today I thought and not as dependable as we've come to expect. Structurally, I think we miss Leo back there.

I still do not think he is the future, but he did a good job straightening us up today.

Of course B2 misses Leo how could you not when you have to cover bumbling LRT as well and lets face it Richards is ok as the spare defender but Essendon didn't dump him for nothing. At least Richards can read football LRT is another story he should be the first to go in my opinion.

Stupid comment of the year. OK, not quite, but up there. Richards is one of the most underrated players in the competition. He is consistently one of our best players, and was again fantastic. LRT, while not playing as well as he was back in 05, for example, was still very solid today, and has strung two good performances in a row. He's getting back on his feet. He was a damn sight better than White, for example, and Grundy, LRT's closest player-for-player comparison, was no better.

It is a concern. He certainly has the right size for a footballer, but he just does not seem to read the play all that well. I hope he continues to develop for us next year, but I definitely think he is not ready for senior footy.

Remember that White has been spending his time in the reserves in the backline (or so it's been reported). You can't just expect him to walk in and play FF after playing most of the season at FB or CHB.

What did he do today that was good? He played as a loose man across half back for most of the game and gave us no drive.
