ALAN Didak has played his last game for Collingwood and Rhyce Shaw will not play for the club next year but Heath Shaw, the driver of the car which side-swiped several vehicles on Sunday night, is likely to be offered the chance to redeem himself in 2009.

While the club said decisions on the fate of the trio have not been made, Collingwood president Eddie McGuire, chief executive Gary Pert and the head of football Geoff Walsh effectively agreed, after a series of meetings, to clear the older two out at season's end.

I think Didak is trouble and we'd be better off without him. He's more than just a dickhead and I really dont think he'd fit into the Swans culture at all.

Rhys Shaw could be a good pick up though and I'm surprised to hear that they would trade him but keep the lying drunk driver (a decision obviously based on talent rather than behaviour).

I think with Rhys it was more of a separate issue of breaking club rules surrounding injury recovery, rather than association with brother and Dids

b) he was out on the turps 2,
c) he had to be punished as well as the other 2,

Collingwood have shot themselves in the foot by discarding these 3 stars.....they will no longer be competitive in the run up to the GF. If they had any chance it is now gone...easybeats. And if any of them especially Dids becomes available we should put our hand up. Alongside Kerr & Cousins & Buddy...a dream team.

A lot of clubs are tougher on blokes getting on the drink when they are trying to overcome injuries than when they are playing.

I guess it's a situation of 'You're no bloody good for us on the sidelines, so you need to do everything in your power to get right and be fit to play'.
