All too well and I totally agreed with him. He had the easiest day of all of them - sitting on the pine watching the game putting in very little (the few minutes he was actually on the field) and gets the spoils at the end. I felt for Vogels he was shafted that day for sure. But we all know that the king of the cardigans , connolly, will say otherwise.

I have got the cashmere Fletcher Jones beige number on now as a matter of fact. Bevo was picked because we needed to maintain defensive pressure of the WC midfield consistently during the match. He did his job very well. Vogels didn't get a game because he couldn't do that job. As for Mathews talk about luck. He should have done jail time for a cowardly assault.

bevan will need to keep improving upon this year to ensure he is not overtaken by younger players comming through.

I am impressed with his season this year. An overall look at his career though and he has spent a lot of it being disapointing. One season well say 9 good games in a season does not make you a champion does it connolly?

Not good enough by a long chalk. He is an oustanding footballer because he is fearless like Kelly and as strong as Maxfield. His mark was as good as Riewoldt's of a couple of seasons ago. It is a rare courage and talent to fly into the face of pack and hold a contested mark, particularly to save a match. He has made the tackle and the mark of the year. ROK you are the first bandwagonner to be ejected off the Bevowagon. Off!!!
