    jude bolton

i see a lot of bevan stuff on here, but wheres the Bolton thread from last night, (sorry if there is one i cant see it)

30 possies 10 inside 50s a couple of goals, set some play up, disposal was pretty good, he was in and under and everywhere.

I would say its close the best ive seen him play, as good as goodes was or Bevan i would say Bolton kept us going and was my nomination for best on ground
Theres not much left to say

I agree with that. He was great against Freo and continuing a very rich vein of form.

No argument we got killed at the clearances but it seemed Jude was in just about everyone we did get..

He was superb in all facets of the game last night. And is truely in some of his best form. Let's hope it continues.
In fact there are quite a few maligned(on RWO) players who are performing well....McVeigh and Bevan are both playing well, and Crouch has come in and is immediately running through lines, staight up the centre and kicking relatively long and straight ...hallelujah!!

I reckon in the second half he was involved in every critical play that went our way - as good as I've seen him play I reckon. The chase, gather, fend off & little give to Kirk who then hit Goodes on the chest was the sort of stuff that gets the commentators creaming themselves over Ablett.

Where were the baggers when Jude played inspired football in the last quarter or when McVeigh picked out Goodes for a vital goal or when Bevan threw himself at the ball and marked it in the dying seconds of the game or even LRT's effort throughout the game.

Like Bevan, Bolton often plays well against poor teams. Trade him.

I think this was a great win. Freo aren't nearly as bad as their ladder position indicates. I heard on the radio last night that they've lost seven games inside two goals. Don't forget also that, but for a poster by Pav in the dying seconds, they could have had the Cats scalp and that might have set up a totally different season for them.

                        The guy is a hack.
Over the last 2 months he has been shown up as the undeveloped footballer he is. Collingwood killed us by playing their forward movements through LRT's opponent. Whoever is on LRT, kick to him, was the obvious plan.
And when we are running out of defence, and he has it.. Leave him. He can not damage a team with the ball no matter how much time and room he is given.
The experiment is over. Play him as a second string ruck if Everitt doesnt improve or he or Jolly are injured.

On topic, Jude has improved greatly in the last 2 months. Good to see.

I was very very angry when I saw him do that. Absolute stupidity.

                              Credit where credit's due.

He's on fire at the moment. Probably career best form (For a few weeks in a row at least!).

Just about BOG Vs Carlton. Great game against Bulldogs. Outstanding last night.

Keep going Jude. Even if it just to make Nico look a goose....
