I'm sick and tired of dealing with the AFL site. Anyone know where I can get a torrent of the Freo Match? I've been lucky over here in that many of the Swans games have been on Setanta and some even live, but it seems like they've been showing the losses and ignoring the games we win.

It's a torrent. Which means it's probably in AVI format. You can burn them straight to DVD from your puter and watch them (Dependent on whether or not your DVD player recognises AVI format of course). But it is a video file regardless, and worse case scenario, you can watch it on your PC.
But you need "client" software. A "bit-torrent" is a protocol. A protocal that is obnly recognised by "bit torrent clients". It's like how word or excel recognise their respective files. In any case, you need a client. I use Azureus. Get it here.
Once you have installed the client, you can then go to the likes of fr333dom.com or thepiratebay.org or torrentz.com and start downloading movie, sports, music, etc torrents.
It's not as complicated as it seems.

I tried watching the games the sanctioned way while I was O/S, through the AFL's official online streaming partner. Its about $2/month and does actually work (its not run by Big Pond), but its very low resolution, felt like about 320x512... the torrent files are much better.Before you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes.
