No chance. Apart from the fact he's not even on the list to be delisted anyway, he won't be going anywhere except to a lower number.

I love the way some people think that we can trade players who aren't good enough for our side. We managed a pretty mediocre draft pick for a regular and semi-regular from a premiership side. How much do you think we'll get for a handful of fringe players?

My biggest fear is that Moore will be another Schneider....

Great in his debut year and then just another passenger....

Many are a bit tough on Moore. He was injured in the first quarter on Saturday night, came back for two full quarters before being iced at the start of the fourth quarter.Yet,he was still one of our higher point scorers for the game. Not too bad an effort.I think he has footy smarts. He has his knockers but I'll be sticking by him.
It might surprise some that Moore was in the top 10 of the 20 metre sprints at the draft camp in 2004.

Yeh, can't see NOG attracting a lot of excitement. He's strong and can kick the cover off the ball, but to be a gun mid-fielder these days you need pace.

If he performed as he did on the weekend, we could certainly still use him...

No way would you trade Moore. What are people thinking. He is one of the finds of the season.

Natural attrition will get rid off at least three or four and it looks like Davis will be traded (although I see little wisdom in this decision myself). Unless they can unearth a Mattner type there seems little value in trading too many unless more draft picks are the result and I think draft picks will have pretty high currency this year with everyone panicking about the Gold Coast consortiums future draft status.

In actual fact this is probably a good draft to get a pretty decent player for not so a high draft pick. In recent trade weeks most teams only offer up second round picks at best ( unless its a judd and we dont have anyone of that value we could afford to give away) , but the natural panic about getting a good draft pick in this draft will mean that you could snare a good player for a fairly low (ie third round) draft pick but the opposite will also apply in that you will not get a high (ie first or second round) draft pick for any average player.

I actually think lower draft picks will be easier to get in the year GC does enter the draft as they wont want to start the competition with a heap of first gamers so they are going to have to trade for some experienced players and they arent all going to be the Buddy franklin , nick riewoldts of the world. Your more likely to get a better draft pick for Ablett (say) at that time then you are in this years trade week.

I expect the Swans will be very active in the trading period. Possible targets could be: Kosi and/or Dal Santo from the Saints, Prismall from Geelong, Boyle from Hawks and a maybe for the Mac Truck from Adelaide.
Personally, and I know this heresy on the Swans Board, but to get these deals done, ROK back to Melbourne. Too heavily tagged now to get the best out of him and seems he may like to go back to Melbourne, so nows the time..

ROK wife is from the NSW North Coast and they are having a baby. May change things if she wants to be closer to family.

He's had a very odd season this year could be ripe for a change. I think he could be very good but is he likely to flourish under Roos if he hasn't been able to do under Lyons?

I know for a fact that Nicky Dal doesn't want to leave the Aints. He definately would be extremely reluctant to go interstate.

Dal Santo is clearly unhappy, and the Saints aren't exactly endorsing him....he would be a perfect fit at the Swans, and we would probably get 5+ good years...

I don't care what anyone says he's a quality player and would be worth the investment

Maybe it would be fate as he should probably have been here in the first place

From the Saints, would still prefer Kosi. Dal Santo would be a great get for us, but at what cost? Both Kosi and DS would be worth 1st round picks..
