The Bee Gee is a very smart footballer now though. He can and does slip the tag to do damage. As he gets more experience he will get better at it. I have a theory based on my own life that footballers who suffered under ruthless older brothers in backyard footy battle on through adversity. Reckon his older brother would have been a egotistical nightmare in the backyard.

To my everlasting RWO shame i was a Bee Gee knocker, the turnstile tackling, lack of grunt etc, etc. But he really is a very smart thinking footballer. And he kicks goals consistently which is a huge bonus with our blue singlet midfield. Good mark, good kick for goal and enough pace and endurance make him a very good footballer. The tag will restrict him in some games inevitably but he is still smart enough to break it to get a kick and snag goals.

I figured it out! Connolly is Bevo's older brother!

He starred against the Bulldogs a couple of weeks, give him a bloody break. He's one of the biggest improvers this year at the Swans. If not the biggest improver.

He's had a great season. He's not the only player who has had a quiet game against Geelong. Within two seasons he will be our number one mid fielder.

No hope our no 1 midfielder normally puts his head over the footy

                      Nah.
                      Connolly is Bevo's older sister.

Kirk was by no means missing. His disposal was bad at times, but he was very much involved.

You're right, of course, he never missed a Collingwood player with his disposals last night.

79 percent effectiveness. Compare that to Bevan (63), Hall (53), Moore (50), Vespremi (38), Richards (64) and Buchanan (60), and the overall team average of 74.

Besides, Kirk's there for his 5 clearances and 9 tackles as much as his disposal.
