    Round 21 - Collingwood

We all know our recent record against Collingwood is not good. We've only won 3 of our last 10 matches against the Magpies, the most recent being on 2005, when we won at Homebush by a solitary point.

Since then, it's been downhill all the way, losing, in order, by 2 goals, 3 goals, 4 goals, 6 goals and 5 goals. Regardless of personnel, we just seem to seize up against Collingwood and make them look far better than they really are.

As with last week's poll, let's be realistic. If we're going to win, where will the improvement come from? Away from home, it's hard to see us turning around our form against a team that knows how to match up on us.

    OK I'm silly enough

Swans to win 11 points - using the old come form behind option 2 goals in the last 10 min to win. Kirky and BBBH. Lead by example, Kirky pulling on the gurnsey like cressa to put us in front and BBBH to extend the lead

    IMO.

The improvement will come from the fact we have employed a more open game plan in the last 2 weeks, which will at least give us a fighting chance rather than going down meekly as we have in the last 5? matchups.

Collingwood's record at TD is suspect - they've won only 1 of their past 6 games there. We're not much better but less space may work to our advantage.

That's interesting - but doesn't overcome my natural pessimism. Swans go down fighting by 9 points.

If we play as well as we did on the weekend, we'll win. 'Pies are going worse than us IMO.

                  Swans to get up.

I am sick of predicting us to break the hoodoo only to be disappointed so I'm taking a different approach this time around.

                    Pies by 6 goals.

Thomas likely to miss with a knee injury.

if Dale "Daisy/sideshow Bob/hairy beach umbrella" Thomas is out then that is so to our advantage. Still - I dont know if our old hands have the stamina to do the come from behind trick again. I hope that I'm wrong and that we smack the pants off them.
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

Collingwood are missing Shaw, Shaw, Didak, Rocca, Rusling and potentially Thomas. If we can't beat them now, we never will.

I think you have one Shaw too many. R Shaw was only out for 2 weeks, the last 2. (Unless he is injured).

Cloke is in good form ATM, as well as Neon Leon, and quite a few others.
So if we can contain those 2, then we'll have a good shot at it.

Well its the last game I'll be going to this season (unless we have a Melbourne final, in which case its would be nice if it was the GF, but alas I don't think so)

Have not seen a win this year, please boys, play free flowing football and kick the pants of these toothless morons.

                              Swans by 9 pts
