im kinda new here and have picked up on the obvious nicknames

thing is i know who you guys are talking about, but why for example is luke ablett called Noggy ( this is pretty much the only one i havent understood)

NOG = Nephew of God (He is the nephew of Gary Ablett) and Gary Ablett's nickname was 'God'.

Nephew Of God! Gary Ablett was called GOD! Luke Ablett is Garry Abletts Nephew! Cousin to Gary jnr and bros!

We usually refer to L Ablett as "Nephew of Gary" as despite him having the nickname "God" whilst playing it is a little inappropriate given his off field behaviour.
