My opinion is that Ben should be able to play a final game on the SCG. If you disagree that's fine but this issue shouldn't be that emotive!

I agree - give Benny a send off that he deserves in the knowledge that he won't be getting anymore gametime.

By the time we play on Saturday night we will know if we are playing for a home final or not, with Collingwood, North and Adelaide all playing beforehand.

If two of those lose, then you will see us play a strong squad and not rest too many players.

If they all win, then it will be a waste of time playing any of Goodes, C Bolton, ROK, Jolly and Kennelly as we will finsih 8th.

At least the club is thinking of the first week and finals and will be trying to put out a team capable of winning. We might not get anywhere over the entire finals series but any win in a final is to saviour, especially in what might be our last appreance for a couple of years.

Roos quotes that a few players are sore & tired.

'Tired' - thats the biggest copout of all time. How can a player be tired after running around for a couple of hours - then spending a huge amount of time in rehab (or recovery). I would have thought that with the technology these days, 'tired' wouldn't come into it.

I bet your local footballer wouldn't complain about being tired, even with next to no rehab.

I think its more a matter of a few players being soft or just not up to AFL standard at the moment (There are a few exceptions).

Didums. At the start of this season they said the team was feeling refreshed because they didn't play through the GF last year. Just goes to show what they say in the media is bull@@@@.
