BBH poor form - the cause

Heard some discussion this morning that Spida is a disrupting influence on BBH, cannot confirm which radio station tho.

Grant Thomas seemed to confirm prolems at the Aints plus few others mentioned it as well.

Putting two and two together - Spida here two years - BBH poor form two years and other off and on field problems.

Hmmm - where's Mulder when you need him.

    He was injured last year.

When he has played this year, his form has been good.

      The truth is out there!

I wondered "what the crap" when Spida had his "let Barry play" sign at the 2005 Brownlow

Barry is old enough and should be wise enough to look after himself. Let's not blame his troubles on Spida.

Agree Hammo - What a stupid theory. I bet it was a Hawks supporter that started that rumour. They don't like him there much after he wanted the trade and then had that issue with the raffle.

Mind you, when Spida was at Hawthorn he was the full beer can throwing coach. Shows the mentality of the bogan when he throws cans at passing cars on New Years Eve. Even more so full ones.

He is running around for the cash and nothing else and surely it must be in his contract to play every game if he is fit. There could be no other explanation for him not getting dropped.

Who does Sven Gali play for and how can we go about asking him to excorcise the Big Man.

spida everitt is the worst thing to happen in the club since the early nineties.

no value whatsoever. imagine if darren jolly didnt have a career best year.

Barry has played relatively well this year when he has actually played, he was absolutely dominant before his hit on staker and has been gd since returning. Give Spida a break he was gd last year and this year he is obviously just past it, along with some injuries. Spida's inclusion to the list has given us something as it has given time for the like's of Currie to develop in the reserves and form a good combo with Jolly.

Thomas ought to know, given that he coached them together.

Everitt was a terrible signing, and it was clear before he even played a game.

Everitt was signed a year too late unfortunately and would have been invaluable in the 2006 grand final. He is no good at the moment and has stayed a year too long - Hawthorn were right in only offerring him one year. He has filled a position for which we basically had no one else so for that he has been useful.

Hall doesnt have bad form so nobody is the cause. He has played pretty well when he has played but what he is showing is a lot of frustration particularly when the ball is not delivered to him.

Hall needs to get back to realising that he is not always the best option and when it is not delivered to him he needs to control himself, work hard and present better and take whatever he gets dished up in the team spirit. there is nothing worse than having a teammate running around abusing everyone else in the team because they arent getting things their way. He needs to sit down with a highlights tape from 2005 and 2006 and see how differently he behaved at that time.

Perhaps he should have a chat to Richo - he seems to have (relatively) calmed down....

Maybe we put him on the wing like Richo as well. Couldnt hurt him and would make hime realise how difficult it can be to get the ball down to a forward some times.

It would satisfy the egos of a few commentators as well (Wallsy i think being one) who have harped on about doing that all year.
