Fair go, he had good help from the loose man, which was mainly Teddy.

It was good, but only because Brisbane were pretty bad.

That's got to be one of the least desired awards in the AFL... being one of LRT's bitches. Zero goals for Browny and zero impact.

Let's pretend for a second that it was all LRT, and forget that the Lions midfield couldn't hit a barn door with a shovel. All jokes aside, goon on ya Lewey!

Fair go, Johnno Brown is always double-teamed, and Brisbane have often played like that, and still that was possibly Brown's quietest game of the season. LRT didn't just negate him, either, he picked up 19 possessions and 9 marks himself, and did some important work on the rebound.

They managed to hit up Bradshaw a number of times. Sure, delivery to Browny wasn't exactly top-notch, but LRT was always there even for the ones that were decent. He stuck to Brown like a glove when needed, and peeled off when it was appropriate. Top game. It will build his confidence massively as well.

The only time I felt like punching someone tonight was when 3 Swannies went for a spoil in the goal-square and Henderson wanted out the back, took the ball off the pack and kicked a goal.

That wasn't really his fault anyway.

I was worried when I saw that match up, but LRT played his role very well. Brown took plenty of marks, just not inside 50. Who'd of thought that Brown would be the one to make LRT look like a defender of AFL standard!

This type of match up seems to suit LRT...good.

It's the Collingwood style where they rn around like blue-arsed flies that rattles him. I think maybe his thinking is ponderous and he is happy with "just stick with that big fella"

                    Still well done Blondey

Lewie has a decent record with Brown. Good to see he's stayed in touch.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Interesting that his legion of critics here have found it so difficult to post a simple note admitting that the Hyphen played a great game on a very good opponent. He is hitting his straps in time for the final(s).

i am one who thinks he should be dropped from the side. I still do, one decent game does not make up for 70 odd rubbish ones. Brown should of got 4 goals if he kicked straight, would of been a win to him.

Yes it was a decent game from lrt but so what, do we leave players in every week in the hope that 21 games will give them a bit of form for the last few weeks? There are still better options out there
