Blind Barry & B1 could miss first final ...

    Well I never!!!

(after such crappola maggoting and all) ...

SYDNEY scored a 61-point win over Brisbane tonight but could be without Jude Bolton, who appeared to be placed on report. The Swans confirmed they will host a home final next weekend with a 17.12 (114) to 6.17 (53) victory before 24,076 fans at Sydney Cricket Ground tonight, but the win was marred by Bolton's apparent report after a clash with Brisbane's Albert Proud midway through the final term.

The Swans will finish fifth or sixth and host either North Melbourne or St Kilda in next week's elimination final depending on the result of tomorrow's match between the Saints and Essendon at Telstra Dome.

Sydney's star forward Barry Hall could also be in trouble with the AFL's Match Review Panel.

Hall, who has served seven-week and one-week AFL Tribunal suspensions this year a Related LinksVideo: Swans tame Lions nd also a club ban for anger-management issues, may face scrutiny over a clash with Daniel Merrett in the eighth minute of the third quarter when he appeared to punch the Lions defender in the shoulder.

    Damn
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

Haven't seen the game yet but surely B1 will get off with his record... From listening on the radio it seemed to be a non-event and his record, IIRC, i spretty well spotless....

I saw the Hall incident clearly and a punch was definitely thrown, but it was a fairly harmless effort IMO.

Jude has nothing to worry about.

Hall will be fine, Jude should get off with a guilty plea if it goes that far. I was kinda hoping that Spida may be missing next week, I thought his punch looked far worse than Barry's. Although Spida probably played his best game for the year, is he really likely to match that performance next week?

The only bloke getting heat from the farcical review commitee should be the dude (forgetting the name) who rabbit punched Kirk. Goodes copped a week for that last year.

Pretty sure that was Charman, who seemed to have taken some angry pills. Cheapies dealt out from him all night.

What a shame Morrisey isn't at Fairfax. He could go on strike and no-one would miss him.

The MMM team reckoned he was gone.

Just saw the Hall, Buchanan and Bolton incidents. Hall's was unnecessary but should be ok. Buchanan could be in a spot of trouble just because of his effort against Hawthorn, and Jude's looked pretty bad - just gotta hope they assess it as 1 week and not 2 so he can take the early plea and play next week.

i just saw the three incidents, hall will be fine, just a punch to the shoulder, if he gets rubbed out for that, the game is in trouble, not a lot in buchanan's Jude's 50/50 although he has a good record, takes the early gulity plea and a reprimand.

Was that incident in the 4th quarter? I saw an incident down the other end of the ground and thought I saw Kirk hit the deck, I was commenting on it and noticed the Lions got a free

Let's face it - Brisbane weren't going any further than last night, so a year's worth of "pent-up" by Charman was almost predictable. If the MRC are to be believed or have any credibility he'll get his week's holiday.

Both Merrett and who ever Jude brushed past , should get a week for pathetic overacting. This prepensity for diving needs to be weeded out, it's a bore. I'd hate to see a big game decided by a dive, 'ala soccer style'.

After watching the Fifth Quarter replays, I'm more concerned about Monty's bump and I don't think the MRP or Tribunal will be lenient following the 4-week suspension farce.
I only support one team: The SYDNEY SWANS!!!!! :adore
