    Probable changes in selected side

It is almost certain that Ves will come in for Craig Bird who did not train yesterday. Also Grundy has been replaced by Jesse White after he pulled up with a hammy problem yesterday.
I really must wonder if Bird is injured or this is one of Roosy's games.
    Regardless,welcome back Paddy.

Not according to the news I watched, he's fine to play.

Given it is going to be really really heavy underfoot, I am sure they will want Bird and Vez if fit.
Jesse looks more mobile than Grundy to me - think that switch is good.

There is no way White will play, he's on the emergency list now that's all.

If anything, these conditions make Vesz's inclusion more critical in our forward line. I'd expect North to change their side a bit also. No point going tall in the wet.

Thats right Hammo. We have to stack it with small men with big hearts. Does Lay Lady Lay think that ANZ has a roof?

How wet is it meant to get tonight - or is it raining in Sydney now?

They canceled the races at Randwick, that's how wet it is.

Isn't that due to the bad condition after WYD?

It was supposed to be the first meet back at Randwick since WYD and the track was ready. Races in Newcastle have been canceled as well apparently.

O.K, I think we have established for everyone not in Sydney that it is going to be wet! Back to the thread.

I'm thinking (hoping) that Ves gets the call up, but am worried it is going to be for ROK. Does anyone know if he trained this week?

Also, why are so many people saying that Ves is unfit? is it lack of match fitness or injury or what? (I do realise that by asking this I have gone back off the thread topic!)

Endurance, cannot run out a game. He did not have a pre-season and missed a fair bit of footy in the first half of the season.

You don't need to be fit to play FF/FP, which is what Vez has been doing.
Officially on the Reid and Sumner bandwagon!
