MMM would be rapt if he took Charlie home. He's extremely fair, very cool, and certainly amongst the very best the game has ATM.

i don't think you get the point. His comment is more about Davis than about Kirk. If you think otherwise, you don't understand what he is saying.

That's how I read ROK's signature as well.

Yep but some people just don't get it unfortunately.

BTW that Thai quote in your sig is hilarious. I am assuming someone blonde said this.

(BT was rather disrespectful of Kirk's place in the All Australian squad today - and the swans in general - I hope he is publicly brought to task on the radio tomorrow)
I like Taylor's input on Sunday Footy Show, find him thoughtful even when he is contentious. If he said anything disrespectful of Kirk or the Swans, the others will probably give him a going over after last night's effort.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

                        Kirk was sensational last night.

I adore Kirky. He's my all-time second favorite Bloods' player ? a close second to Paul Kelly. Sorry Skilts I never saw you play!

This is what one of the hounds on the local comic had to say about Kirky a while ago. "Can't kick, can't mark, can't run, can't handball - bloody champion."

I would add "can lead by example and can tackle". Apparently, Kirky has been either one or two in the AFL tackle count for last few years and is now the leading tackler in VFL/AFL history.
Supporting the club formerly known as South Melbourne ?

Second to the ball more than any other player ever.

Better being second than last like so many kangas, eh? And he still picks up an enormous number of possies.

The most successful Swans captain of our lifetimes. No other ever achieved what he has - lifted his team to a premiership and just about got us another one by pure force of will to win. Let's hope he can do it again this year.
