    McVeigh & O'Keefe

To those who said that these two always go missing in big games - you were wrong. Very wrong.

Both played brilliantly last night and they've both had outstanding seasons.

To be fair, Rhino has been pretty poor for the past two months. But last night was vintage Rhino.

McVeigh has been fairly consistent, not to mention a match winner, this season. He has truly come of age IMO.

ROK and Kirky have been selected in the 40-man squad for the All-Australian. Apparently the final team is selected on 15 September. Surely the selectors would be influenced by finals appearances but I'm not sure if it's only based on the home and away. You'd think ROK would be in, as should Kirky.

No he hasn't. He's had three quiet games (and was obviously missing last week). But he was our best by some distance against the Crows, and even in the Freo game you could see him working his beautiful butt off all game. He was also huge in the close win over the Blues.

There are only a handful of players able to dominate almost every week. Of the next echelon down, O'Keefe has had as an outstanding and consistent season as any.

he is injured O'Keefe I reckon, hence why he sat up forward a lot more then usual rather then being more on ball. But by gee he was good- same again next week please. He really could be a gun CHF imo- one of the best marks in the competition and when his radar on he kicks as well as anybody.

i would lump goodsey in with these two in terms of importance last night. Kirk did what he always does, but these three especially stood up and followed him to victory
