I would have given McVeigh a 9 but it's hard to argue with most of those ratings.

          Jared Crouch ? 4
Handed the unenviable job of keeping Brent Harvey quiet, and found the pace of the North star a challenge in the first half. Luckily for Crouch, Harvey faded in the second half as North dropped off.

          coach Paul Roos said.

"I thought Crouchy's job after half-time on Harvey was really significant, we were able to snuff Wells out a bit after half-time."
Seriously, how good are the South Melbourne Market dimmies?

I think Adrian Ormond is underselling Crouch's efforts in the 2nd half. Saying that Harvey 'faded in the second half as North dropped off' is a bit simplistic I would've thought.

Agree with everyone on McVeigh, should've been a 9 and I reckon Teddy deserved an 8.

I loved O'Keefe's game close to goal.

Malceski's goal was a set shot from a McVeigh pass, so I'm not sure why he said that it was a snap
