2003 EF agst PA. I kept thinking I was dreaming.
1997 Rnd 18 agst Cats at Skilled. Plugger kicked 9. I'd got the footy train with the girls and was in standing room (pig pen). Great day. All to the theme music of Deliverance.
1998 Round 4 vs North at SCG. Nothing like beating Roos in a close one.

All on DVD - all watched over and over and over and over and over and over (it's a long off season)
      2005 Boxed Set
      Pluggers 1300th
      Kel's last game.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

Magic day at the footy, although I'm almost positive that it was '98. Have a copy of the game - Lockett kicked 8 in the first half.

So did I. We won by 1 point - Tony Shaw was Pies captain and Jared Crouch was crowd-surfing. And the game was played on dirt, not a blade of grass anywhere.

I actually have got the Carlton 1996 game on video.

It was the game that converted me to the Swans! Initially I saw the Carlton game live in television. The next week I, along with 40,000 others, went to the SCG to see the Swans against the Cats, and that was it.

It was actually 1999. Great comeback game, with the Paul Kelly goal late in the 3rd Quarter particularly memorable.

That was the first game I went to in Sydney. I'd obviously been to a heap down here but that was the first one up there. All the talk was of a shootout between the two great FF's but it didn't really eventuate as Ablett had a shocker and we brained them!

Correct - fat finger error. Cressa was EVERYWHERE that game. IIRC he had something like a million possessions.

I think that when they first came out they were a limited edition set (individually numbered etc) -not sure if you can still get them...

I would go back to the 96 prelim against Bombers. Most exciting game I have ever been at. Kell, Plugger, Cressa and Co.

                                Paul Roos for PM
