The Swans have made no changes to the side that defeated North Melbourne by 35 points in last weekend's elimination final, though Roos said the fitness of midfielder Luke Ablett would be monitored over the next 24 hours.
    Noggy under watch.

Continuity of selection sends a great message after last week's win. Strong show of faith from Rocket in the Dogs' team selection too after the Hawks game.

I think that would be the best result imaginable if Ablett was left out and Bird was brought in. That's the team that will take us to the Prelim...

I think we have one too many talls down back but apart from that I'm happy.

Surely they wont start both big men?

I still favour Noggy over Bird, the harder finals type body against the bruised and battered dogs is a must.

                  exactly
Bird in and Ablett out would probably be the best 22 we have available IMO.

                    Forecast for Friday
A shower or two clearing during the morning. The chance of an early morning
thunderstorm. Fresh north to northwesterly winds.

                    Precis: Shower or two clearing.
                    City: Min 13 Max 23

Maybe that's why we're going tall. I'd play Spida. If we don't stifle their running game we're stuffed anyway so why not go tall and see how they cope with that?

Bird or NOG - I'll leave it up to Roos on which is the least of the walking wounded and the best match up. But I bet it's NOG if he's halfway fit.
