I was at least pleased that we held the Dogs in the last quarter and didn't completely capitulate, like we did against St Kilda in 2004 or Collingwood in 2007.

To finish the season 5th was from my point of view a pleasant surprise. Where did are arch rivals the Eagles finish?

I guess my point is that after premiers in 2005 & runners up in 2006 we still made the finals in the following 2 years (unlike West Coast and Port for that matter). We have made the finals consistently for the last 6 years...not bad for a tema that everyone wants to bag so much

And ROK chose to play on to Hall who if he had reached the crap kick would have been no closer in and on a greater angle. I believe the turnover cost us a direct goal without us contesting the ball, 2 goal turnaround, turning point of the game, Doggies get their tales up, we stand with hands on hips, game over. What got me about that play was the umpire had not even set the mark and maybe he should have called it back. Stupid play just the same, but was the story of our night.

SR100 you are treading on very thin ice there calling Bevo a hack. I had the timerity of saying that about another certain player and got whacked around the ears with a soggy lettuce leaf by 2 journos of very little significance.

You should be scared, very scared.

That is a very spirited and well worded reply. That's what this alternative thread was hoping to flush out.
