Season 2008 - Poll Awards
Thanks to everyone who participated in the weekly opinion polls throughout the season.
Some facts and figures
* 237 separate respondents voted at least once
* the average number of respondents per poll was 57
* the greatest number of respondents was 95 in Round 11, for West Coast at Subiaco
* the least number of respondents was 29 in Round 22, for Brisbane at the SCG
And now for the awards:
The Coleman Medal (for tipping the most correct results) goes to... ScottH and 573v30, who tipped correctly 17 times out of a possible 24 games. Scott was also the only respondent who tipped in all 24 games (besides Yours Truly)
The Nostradamus Award (for tipping the most correct results AND correct margins) goes to... reigning premier, who tipped the double 9 times.
The Must-Try-Harder Award (for most incorrect tips) goes to... MarshallG, who scored zero out of 7 polls.
The Bullseye Award (tipped once, tipped the correct result and margin - and were never heard from again) goes to... allbrotha, boroboy, broadfordthug, Benevolent Ert, clean, craigusvegas, Frog, jenky28, tez, Wolfgang, and wedge.maverick
The Group Perfection Award goes to... everyone who tipped the Swans in Round 13 against Melbourne. It was the only poll where we all tipped the correct result.
Finally, the Big Brother Intruder Award goes to Kanga and FIGJAM. Why are you guys voting in our polls anyway?
