    Steven Armstrong

West Coast dropped him, seemed to find form in the midfield late in the season could be a good pickup for free?

Frontrunner, though he might be seen as a replacement for Davis.

You think he must be in really bad form for the Eagles to drop him. The stats however say otherwise.

This year, his third for West Coast, he played the most games ever for the club-14. He's average possession per game in 2008 was 15.4. In 2006 (a Premiership year) it was 13.5, whilst last year it was 13.9. Despite playing 14 games, he was part of all but one of the Eagles' four wins this year.

There is no sign of any injuries, he played the last 6 games of the year, and 8of the last 9.

Significantly, he's a 2006 Premiership Player, and only aged 24.

If he comes free he should be looked at. He is fast and has some skill.

nothing special, not a bad player though. But we really need to look at areas where we are weak, we dont really need another mid 180cm player with average skills.

                He might fit in nicely.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

                  No thx.

Not the worst player going around, but we have his type covered nicely.

No - only an average talent. We have plenty of young midfielders who if given a chance should become better players than Armstrong easily.

                      Take him on.

Might make LRT and Playfair not look as average.

We dont need him, our forward line has depth.

Its an outside running midfielder we need and a solid mobile CHB.

We do need a small forward though.
