    Prismall, Varcoe, Tenance

Why not target some youngsters who can't break into the geelong side and may want to move to a club were they can!
Prismall would be great for us, seems fast and can find the ball
i would rather see him at the swans than Kerr

I like all three of them, imo Varcoe is what we need. Plenty of pace and has the ability to make that almost freak play to open it up. Its an avenue we should explore at very least.

        That settles it!
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Varcoe won't be traded. Geelong have a lot of faith in the dude. As evidenced by the fact that he's been given the #5.

He's a developing player for Geelong and I can't see him going.

Varcoe is playing in a GF this week - hard to see him leaving
Hawkins is a F/S pick even without getting a game this week doubt he will leave the Cats. Plus they have been talking him up as the new plugger so would cost a fortunte
Prismall's knee ironically scuttled any potential trade deals
                    Tenace is Spriggs Mark II

I have just read the book about last years draft and if it is as predicted we have a good midfield in the making already. There are big raps in the book about Meredith and we have other youngsters who will benefit greatly with a good pre season.Vesz and Moore need to build up their motors.Bird needs to bulk up.We have Schmidt (I hope) and Jack as well.
These guys will be great compliments for the likes of Kirk,McVeigh,Goodes and Bolton.
Geelong have said they are keeping Prismall,Varcoe is a definate starter in the Grannie and Tenace is a hack who has not lived up to the potential he showed in the under age comp.
