It's a weird count because most of the players who've polled extremely well so far fell of a little in the second half. GAblett will still get some more votes but missed a lot of games. Cooney was nowhere near as good in the last third of the season. Black has already said he's got all he pretty much thinks he can get. Richo didn't fire quite as much late in the season.
Riewoldt and Bartel will come with a rush but they're a long long way back. And Brent Harvey's not polling nearly as well as expected.
Young Selwood is one who will get lots of late season votes and is probably close enough.
Doubt Kirk can get there. I thought his last month was quite quiet, and we lost a lot of games convincingly over that period too.Comment

There is just no way known that Goodes should be polling THIS many votes considering the start to the season he had, the amount of matches he missed due to injury and suspension and of course how many games his was impacted upon due to injury which in turn held him back.

Good on Rob Harvey, but the AFL needs to realise that people watch the Brownlow for the event not the various asides they litter it with.

It's going to be interesting to see if Black can hold on, I think he'll be overtaken but he'll probably be in the Top 5. Richo's gaining big time.
