    How about a fallen Cat?

Very pacy player who I thought played very well in last years Grand Final (with possibly the rest of the team).

Wouldn't we at least enquire about his availability - he has pace that splits packs open.

Vital to the Cat's structure as he provides them with plenty of drive off the half-back - which is where I reckon are the Cat's major strength.

I think he missed out in the big one due to the amount of matches he missed at the back end of the season.

Of course if he were available, we should definitely look at him but I reckon he would command too much.

Of the players that are in the mix for Geelongs best 22, Wojak has the worst skills of the lot.

He has pleanty of pace, which allows him to break lines, but that's it.
The amount of times I've seen him fly through the centre of the ground to miss his shot at goal, or spray a pass...... I've lost count.

He would not fit in well at the swans... his lack of foot skills does not suit our gameplan at all.
With the space the cats create, he is made to look ok... nothing more.

We need his pace and his skills on the run are not to bad.

More like it will fit in well with the Swans. Those attributes are a prerequisite!

Yeah, sorry.... my point was really that we can't afford to have another one with such skills.

Our gameplan is built around keeping possession of the ball and hitting a target. We already have players that can't do that, so why bring in another one?

Time to get rid of the players that don't have the required skills to play at this level, and draft/trade in players that can actually kick.

I'm looking in particular at Luke Brennen, LRT, Henry Playfair, Luke Ablett, Jude Bolton.

SPOT ON. He plays fast and loose and takes as much care with his kicks as Luke Ablett (possible less). No thanks. I think his disposal was why he was dropped. Hawthorn will punish dearly for turnovers.

Too expensive for the potentail benefits.

I am really hoping Matthew Laidlaw can get his body right this year and play a similar role.

Didn't realise he was that old. And agree he would cost a 2nd rounder at least.

Changed my mind. No from me.
