Mark Williams and Tadhg were on the panel whilst they did the interview with Cousins, they were both asked if they would like to have Cousins at their club next year; Williams suggested that Adelaide was possibly too similar to Perth as far as the fishbowl with media outlets focusing on just the two teams, Tadhg said (and I'm paraphrasing) that addiction of some kinds has been close to everyone in some way and he thinks that Cousins coming back is wonderful and would be an asset to the club (may have said to any club).

So Williams basically said "no" and Tadhg said "yes".
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

He spoke along the lines that both sides could learn a thing or two about addiction and lifes battles and suggested that if Cousins came to Sydney, or any club for that matter, it would be eye opening and beneficial for the other players as well to see what Ben has had to overcome and observe first hand his ongoing battle.

For what it's worth, although he didn't give anything away, he didn't really seem warm to the Collingwood suggestion, so Sydney may be a good fit because most experts appear to agree he would benefit by getting away from the fishbowl that is Perth (Mark Williams was also interviewed and said Cousins shouldn't look at Adelaide for the same reasons). Collingwood would be like going from the frying pan into the fire.

        EDIT: Yeah, what ^^^^ said

I took it as more of a mark of respect from Irish. He respects him as a player (he saw his talent close up) and as a person overcoming his demons.

Cheer Squad member Chook and Am dont agree they said in regards Sydney eagles. they dont want any part of any eagles players. We just need to retain O'Keefe very important to us.

Very amused by Australian article re Roos saying "something happened on Monday in regards O'Keefe's contract, they offered him 3 years" Roos not so sure now if O'Keefe has signed.
            Love those Swans

Damn that Jason Ball. He was a cancer eating away at the fabric of our club all along.

177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....

He does have a bit of a fan in Terry Wallace though. He got a nice year off courtesy of people on Driver Avenue.

Relax. He's not coming to Sydney.

Disgraced ex-west coast eagles fallen star junkie cousins has to wait until the AFL says it's OK for him to come back and play.

They may not give him permission.

"I've been reluctant to come out and say that's exactly what I want to do, because there is a set of criteria I have to meet from the AFL's end,? he said.

"I then have to go about trying to find a club that is willing to take me on as a footballer, but also what comes with it."

Cousins has applied to the AFL be re-registered and will be advised of the outcome within the next month, and he is optimistic about his future within the game.
No club yet, but disgraced ex-west coast eagles fallen star junkie cousins wants to play on

Syd Sunday terror has story that Collingwood had a private investigator follow him for two weeks last month.

If he goes anywhere it will be there no doubt.

I thought I heard someone from the budgie criminals say that the door was "ajar" as far as disgraced ex-west coast budgies fallen star junkie cousins was concerned. Could have even been Poosher, sorry Woosha, that said it. There's talk that he may go back.
