There were NRL preliminary finals tickets last week on sale for $10.

I didn't go but I seem to recollect reading that the tickets for QF were about $45.
        Bring it on!

Did anyone mention that there is a recession NSW and that given this the prices were way over the top.

Maybe it is a part of a new conspiracy by the AFL to shaft us ahead of the new team in Sydney.

Couldn't even sell out the GF and even that crowd included many freebies and cheap ticket deals.

If I recal correctly re Ticket Prices there has been a price-freeze over the last 3 years on game day tickets (including finals). I purchased the best seating class for the final @ 48.50 concession and 75 adult. Hardly over the top and too expensive, but I understand that not everyone has as free a wallet.

Why would they ask Melbourne members to participate in that?????

Sometimes peoples logic on this board amazes me.

We have a Melbourne Membership Team staffed by a fulltime manager and a couple of staff, we have a Melbourne based board member for the first time since our move to Sydney and we currently make up over 30% of the club members. What makes you think they don't care what we think about the club and membership.

He actually said it was the AFL who don't care about the Melbourne supporters, not the Club itself...and I agree with him

The TV coverage in Melbourne of Swans games this year was a joke if you dont have Pay TV. The result for me was that throughout the year my interest level in footy declined so much that I wasnt watching any games at all
