Try some considered specific criticisms instead of the mindless abuse.

I enjoy reading/listening to Mike Sheahan, he's one of the more thoughtful journos around.

    -1 for your list.

Fifth in the charlie count says otherwise.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

Who did he play better than? He didn't make the AA extended team. He didn't deserve as many Brownlow votes as he received, which in any case doesn't point towards how good his year was overall.

In a bad year, Goodesy played well. Not as well as we've seen (or like) him to play, but well enough to have made the top 50.

Lohengrin, if the brownlow count is meaningless, why is brownlow medal so important? Every player plays for a charlie (well, most players anyway).
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

I think every player plays to win a flag. The Brownlow is important because of tradition, but it's widely recognised that it's a midfielders' medal and it doesn't always get it right.

Goodes didn't even finish top 10 in the B&F.
