We have a new player on our list

I logged on to RWO to see what happened tradewise, expecting all the news....NOTHING has happened, apparently.

Except, I log on to realfooty and see we HAVE been active in trade week.

Bewilderingly so. In need a of speed and a youth rebuild we splash a top 50 pick on a 27 year old who is slow, poorly skilled and has off field discipline issues...and plays a position which we have covered by (at least) 4 good or very good players.

    Very, very bizarre.

He isn't slow, definitely faster than our current brigade. But I agree with the rest of your assessment. I wonder if this spells the end of Fosdike?

I doubt it, but it will be an absolute joke if that's the case.

I haven't seen any comments from the Swans in relation to this pick-up... I'm sure someone can enlighten me.

bizarre is not the word for it. If only at least for his age- understandable perhaps if he was 23 or something but he turns 27 next does he not. Might add a bit of utility value but not a lot else imo. Ah well, see how he goes I guess!

I'm still rather speechless, how did we get so lucky?

I think he can add a fair bit for us. He was in the Pies best 22 and by most estimations they are further advanced than us. Plays a sweeper role very well for them..and may well free up, Mattner to play further up the ground with Eski..

pick 40 odd is a nothing pick as is pick 60 odd and collingwood chucked in a player, i think the swans thought what the heck.

he is actually comming off statistically one of his best seasons, but i dont think we needed him.
Theres not much left to say

If I go there could be trouble, if I stay it will be double....
