Adelaide Delisted him, could be a good pickup in the PSD? at 190cm and he's agile and quick could be a possible fill in should micky o or barry have a shocking season

The recruitment of Shaw for pick swap 46/61, would seem to suggest that we will delist the minimum of 3 and only use our first two picks at 12 and 30 while promoting O'Dwyer to the main list.
Obivously if ROK moves, this will free up another spot and a huge wad of cash. But we will only be able to go shopping next year and extract some revenge if we lose him.
Just think of the cash to spend next year without ROK, half of MOL's salary and probably Hall as well.
Next year clubs are going to be falling over themselves to offload established talent to pick up one of the few reamining top picks after GC17.
We are going to see a stack of player trades during trade week next year.

You may be right, but a very frustrating strategy for one of the strongest and the last uncompromised draft for a while."As everyone knows our style of football is defensive and unattractive, and as such I have completely forgotten how to mark or kick over the years" - Brett Kirk

Let's be honest, it's not like we traded a top ten pick for a 20 + pick. By the time you get to 46 or 61 (Regardless of how "strong" the draft is), you're pretty much picking on faith or someone that you see a particular use for. Sure the top dozen or so are a better chance than others of being a "gun" player, but there's very little difference in the picks once you get to 30 and beyond.Comment

Difference between 46 and 61 is negligible, it will be crap shoot at either pick.Driver of the Dan Hannebery bandwagon....all aboard. 4th April 09Comment

Our strategy does suggest this is a strong draft, for the first time in 3 or so years we will be going into the draft with our second round pick.
What we have done this year is move our expeirence player pick up to round 3.
Would have loved picks 12, 16 and 30 if the deal for ROK had been clinched but thems the breaks.
