    2009 Fixture

Was supposed to be released at 11:30 this morning, but a leaked link to a Herald-Sun page makes it available for viewing now.
Sydney have St Kilda at Docklands first up, then Hawthorn at Homebush in round 2.

Saturday afternoon games in Sydney is something new. The NRL abandoned that timeslot completely because no-one used to go - hopefully we can do better.

Only problem is that the Saturday afternoon games probably won't be televised in Melbourne, or certainly not as much as Sundays.

Why do they keep making us play Geelong in Geelong.

1 game out of first 10 in Melbourne (thats not counting the Geelong game).

Not good for the Melbourne fans.

Split round ... 5 games in week 1, 3 games in week 2.

                  That's new.

bloody hell!!! the teams swans play twice... Geelong, Hawthorn, St. Kilda (top 4 from last year). The up and coming Collingwood, Carlton, Richmond and interstate rivals Brisbane. Very hard draw, I hope the boys do a good pre-season

Yeh, I noticed that too, anyone else notice rounds 20-21 and 22 are exactley the same as 2008? Except that the round 21 fixture against Collingwood will be at the MCG instead of docklands.
