    Me first.

    9.

Once again, will someone please tell Micky that he's an old man!!

I'm really, really, really looking forward to his 300th for the Swans. I hope to God it happens at a home game. If not, I hope Roosey does the right thing and "rests" him off for a week or so, so that we can celebrate at home. I think I'm even looking more forward to this than Plugger's 1300th.

Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

Excellent year. Even managed some goals whilst he was the #1 forward.

      7.

Would have got an 8 if he played in the last third of the year, at the same level he showed earlier.

      Keeps on keeping on.

We missed him late in the year.

His best season for a while I thought. Gave him a 7, but would've been an 8 if he'd stayed on the park.

As previously stated, he'd deserve an 8 but the injury sustained in Round 16 forced him onto the sidelines for the rest of the year.

After Hall gave Staker a left hook, MOL became the main target up forward and played well. In terms of stats compared to 2007, his disposal rate (avg. 12.0 possessions in 2008 vs. 11.6 in 2007), marks (5.6 vs. 4.9) and goals (2.2 vs. 1.7) were up and he would've reached 50 goals again, last achieved in 2005.

In his 16 games, he's been fairly consistent with his possession winning and goal kicking, with a 6-goal haul, 2 4-goal hauls and 4 3-goal hauls. His best game of the year was easily against Essendon with 12 kicks, 7 handballs, 8 marks and 6 goals. He also had great games against St. Kilda, Richmond, Western Bulldogs, West Coast and Port Adelaide.

Hopefully he has another consistent season in 2009 and reaches the 300 milestone. A true Swans great.
I only support one team: The SYDNEY SWANS!!!!! :adore

Agree with all of the above.

7, but 8 or 9 if he'd gone the whole distance.

Love the way he goes about his game and his ability to make goals out of nothing.

              Can't wait for his 300th.

                  9.

Not interested in the games he didn't play. In the games he did play he was sensational. For a guy who's supposed to be a washed up old, 2nd tier fwd, he's doing OK. Where do we get another one of him? Carried the fwd line in BBBBH's absence and put in great game after great game.

I'm flying back to Oz for this man's 300th.

                    A freak and legend.

Looking forward to his 300th , cant wait. Would also love to see him do it in
Sydney and hopefully a heap of us Melbourne supporters get up there for it and its played before a packed house. He deserves that.

He still has plenty to offer as well , was going as good as ever before injured.

                      What he said.

I will shed tears when Micky retires. If he starts in round 1 when will he reach 300 (if he doesnt miss a game)?

If that's the case it is against the Pauperoos in Sydney....woohoo. If he misses one game before then it's still in Sydney and if he misses 2 it's in Melb.

We'll have already don our trips to SA, WA and Qld, so apart from the one Canberra match after Rd 14, it will be either Sydney or Melbourne.

                            9. Top season by the "mincer". Was a shining light in a gloomy forward line.

He is one of only two true champions at the club. Brilliant, charasmatic and big hearted player. In the great tradition of Skilton and Nash (who i didn't see play for all the smart arses out there.)
