    Quietest time of the year

What do you regard as the quietest time of the year for AFL fans.

My personal "quiet" period is around the time of the Boxing Day/New Year Cricket Test period (26th December to 7th January) The Grand Final is long gone, the trading period is finished, the International Rules games have been determined, and the two drafts have been completed. All club lists are finalised. Even the players are on mid pre season holidays. Yet the Pre Season competition (and even the old North Sydney game) is still over a month away.

You can't get much quieter than that, but there is a bit of noise when it's Draft time and when the NAB Cup starts.
I only support one team: The SYDNEY SWANS!!!!! :adore

Nonsense! That's the perfect time to while away the rubbish overs that Johnson bowls fantasising and debating about who will beat who next season, not to mention masking Grieg's hideous commentary. For that you need to have a rowdy debate about how Melbourne could win the flag next year (injuries, what it takes for 12 teams to drop out in 6 months, etc).
