I don't live in Sydney so haven't seen these 2 in action yet.

Just wondering what seasoned canberra watchers thoughts are on these 2 heading into 2009

Obviously they have both had their short careers curtailed by injuries, but from what you have seen can you comment on the following:

What is their playing style? What current player would you liken them to? Have you liked what you've seen? If injury free do you expect them to get some senior games in 09?

DOK is supposed to be a classy outside midfielder, an ingredient that I think we really need, so I view his development as being extremely important

My favourite subject, the kiddies.

Watched both of the boys early in 2008, was very impressed with DOK. Think Peb (they are cousins after all) in his early days, built low to the ground, can concentrate, looks to be quick between the ears and on his feet. Appeared to make good decisions.

Meredith had a few great moments, popped up unexpectedly at times and can find the goals. Not immediately obvious, one of those "who was that?" kind of player at present.

They were in their first year and had injuries and I don't expect "big things" of them yet, but would suggest they provide depth to the squad, they are not making up the numbers.
