Eski says it was match fitness, not the knee, that hindered his form

    Article here

"I'm confident in both my knees. They are stronger than they have ever been and I don't think about it any more."

While he played 11 games this season, they were not at the level that made him one of the Swans' standouts in 2007.

He said it was the result of a lack of match fitness, rather than his knee, and believes he can get back to his best in 2009.

"I had a couple of all right games but nothing to how I was in '07. But the way I look at it, nine other blokes did their knees this season around the same time as me and I played 11 games and those guys played none. I just feel grateful to have played those 11 games last season."

So players don't need to be fit to play in our team?

Maybe they could light up at half time too, who cares, they've got talent.
