    Beating Collingwood

Rhyce Shaw is impressing everyone with his work ethic at training. He is challenging our fitness fanatics,McVeigh and Kirkey in all the time trials and club training competitions. Our ex mid field star Williams ,also from Collingwood had fantastic stamina and fitness.Maybe Collingwood gets its players fitter than we can possibly imagine?Maybe they just run us off our feet.I don't remember Shaw being a player that stood out more than others for run in the Collingwood side.I guess that fitness is hard to beat, then they have a clever coach that keeps Roosey swinging the interchanges like there is no tomorrow. To finish off ,they are prepared to play a moody inconsistent but brilliant player of questionable character called Didak who can actually win games for them.To beat Collingwood we have to be fitter,a lot smarter in the coaching box and pick players who can win games. Not easy ! Can anyone see us beating Collingwood this year?If so,how?

The other star recruit from the maggots put a considerable hole in the theory of superior fitness. Their strengths match up very well against our weaknesses. Very fast midfield against a one paced midfield, tall strong marking forwards against a smallish defense. And of course it would help if the Victorian coppers eventually charged the little grub with an indictable offense and a magistrate put him away for a season. We can beat them with more pace in the midfield, which is why we recruited the Boozanator.

What was wrong with Schauble's fitness?

With the new apple turnover in the backline (Toobee Shaw), the custard pies are sure to be creamed this year?

I'd have to say that last year the Swans' team fitness seemed to be a bit lacklustre compare to other clubs.

Whether other clubs have put more in, or if we have just taken the foot off the pedal, we seemed slow, and tired at the end of games.

Collingwood - you have to be very fit and fast for the smash and grabs. Comes with the territory.
In memory of my little Staffy - Dicey, 17.06.2005 to 1.12.2011- I'll miss you mate.

No just a waste of space, the man who was "thanked" at the best and fairest that year and there was virtual silence from the crowd, including the players etc. Would love to know just what was going on there. All I know is that he didn't put in.
