    Pre-season Games?

    Does anyone know if there will be any games, prior to the start of the NAB cup?

      I really loved the North Sydney game which was usually in mid February - was a great night and I was so dissapointed it wasn't on last year!!

              I seem to recollect they had an inter (or maybe) intra club game last year (early Feb) at the training pitch in front of the SCG (per this thread http://www.redandwhiteonline.com/for...h+sydney+oval). I was wondering if they were going to do that again this year and if so when.

                  it wont be at North Sydney oval because the Starlight cinema starts there next week and doesnt finish until the end of Feb.

                  I guess they will do the training run as Ange suggested out the front of the SCG.
                  I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

                          The Representative season will have an early start with the Sydney AFL Development Squad to play the Sydney Swans at Bus Loop Oval on Saturday, 21 March 2009. This is the weekend prior to the start of the AFL season and is likely to include a number of the Swans senior players which is a great opportunity for the AFL Sydney youngsters.

                              Sunday 22 Feb at Manuka is the Ansett Cup match.

                              Is likely to NOT include a number of the Swans senior players which is a great opportunity for the youngsters.

                              There should be a book on how much we'll lose by.
