    Hannebery and Heath to play TAC Cup

    Sydney calls on teenage duo to cover departures - realfooty.com.au

    SYDNEY, hit by the belated departures of Tadhg Kennelly and Nic Fosdike, will have a further two youngsters based in Victoria for the duration of 2009.
    The Swans have received AFL approval to play draftees Dan Hannebery and Campbell Heath in the TAC Cup under-18 competition in Victoria this year while the teens are studying year 12.

      Good idea. Wonder why they didn't do that for Currie in his first season.

          Currie played Public School footy which is a handy comp and also missed some games with injury. I believe he may have played a couple for our 2's.

              Of course, according to BigFooty, this would just be further evidence that the Swans are a protected species and above the rules.

                They have at least felt some sympathy for us after the Swans lost Coney and Kennelly to the Emerald Isle.
