    They did. Cooney and McVeigh were playing close-ish to each other for part of the game. Though Cooney didn't look as if he was pushing himself too hard.

      Also Robert Murphy. I like his media writing. I distinctly dislike liking anything bulldoggy (except the voice of reason, Luke Darcy), but....well I do respect him, so I noted in particular he was on the ground.

      I hoped Cooney was going flat out because if he wasn't then we could be in trouble in future games.
      If you've never jumped from one couch to the other to save yourself from lava then you didn't have a childhood

        Luke Darcy gets a lot of splinters by sitting on the fence on every topic footy.

        He is entrenched into the AFL clique and will not give an opinion on a player lest he treads on a clique mate's toes. Can't stand listening to his droning, monotone goats droppings.

        David Scwarz gets a lot of bagging from fans but at least he is prepared to get stuck in.
