This made me smile a big, big smile. Well done Adam, more than deserving.

I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time -

If this bloke is over his groin injury look out this season. If he is on song there is no way we will slide to the depths as predicted.Comment

Is Adam the only indigenous player other than Polly Farmer to captain a league team? Those who have the greatest power to hurt us are those we love.Comment

Excellent decision IMO. He was inspirational when he was temporary captain in 05 for those 3 games and whenever he has a role with the Indigenous all-stars (playing or coaching) it seems to inspire him throughout the year.Official Driver Of The "Who Gives A @@@@ As The Player Will Get Delisted Anyway" Bandwagon.

According to The Age this morning:
He joins a select group of Aborigines to have captained an AFL club. The group includes Geelong's Graham Farmer in the 1960s and more recently Port Adelaide's Gavin Wanganeen, Brisbane's Chris Johnson and Essendon's Michael Long.
Adam - well done and here's hoping you perform up to the high standards previous and current Swans captains have.Comment
