Space-age machine is Sydney Swans' secret weapon

The football dept have a new tool and no it's not a reappearence of Saddington
"It is the six-figure space-age machine that is residing in the usually off-limits underground gymnasium at the Swans headquarters and is the only one of its type in Australia.

Designed by NASA engineers, the Swans are hoping this gravity-defying treadmill will do for its growing list of thirty-somethings what it has done for Lance Armstrong, Brett Farve, Shaquille O'Neil and Paula Radcliffe - enable them to sustain peak performance in the latter years of their careers.

Fascinating. Nothing like having a secret weapon. And I bet there are fights about whose turn it is.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

A weapon from the space age? Sounds intriguing.
He had observed that people who did lie were, on the whole, more resourceful and ambitious and successful than people who did not lie.
