probably a $200 per head dinner - they certainly know how to charge for such things.
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................
Chickens drink - but they don't pee!

I don't know ... maybe win some more silverware?

That'd be a lovely way to celebrate.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

I don't think there'll be many ex-players attending. Not many who saw them play either.

I believe they are recognising/celebrating it against the blue baggers when they play them in round 3 or 4 or whenever it is in sydney, then when they play them again in melbourne

The idea of a hundred year celebration of a win over Carlton has its appeal.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Just recieved my members pack and it answered my question about 1909 premiership. Will definetly be coming to melbourne for that celebration in July.

you can see the boffins in the merchandise department coming up with some kind of expensive commemorative item to flog as we speak!

                        hats off to 'em

Maybe we could be enticed to buy a $45 cap to commemorate the occassion?

$45 is way too cheap - it has to be far more expensive than that!!!

Try a $100 cap. A dollar for each year. I'd buy it.

The premiership had some interesting parallels. The Crims knocked one of our players unconscious in the first quarter (shades of 45) and the match was saved by a mark in our defense in the dying seconds( shades of 05). We won by two points with winning score of four goals. Was the flood on? Whatever the clowns running the club decide to do any victory against the Crims should be celebrated by all with a rough red, glasses raised and a warm inner glow.
